On World Stage, Trump Has Daughter by His Side; Readers Say They’re Embarrassed

WASHINGTON, D.C. July 1 (DPI) – Only The Washington Post made much of Ivanka Trump’s presence with her father and global leaders in Osaka and Korea’s DMZ last week, as the NYT and the WSJ downplayed the strange spectacle.

Readers and boards across the internet sneered over the “awkward” exchanges between world leaders and the president’s daughter, whose background, credentials and general credibility make her, in the view of most Americans, exceptionally unqualified for advancing US interests among global leaders. She appeared front and center at the G20 summit for many of its photo ops.

More than 3,600 comments hit the screens on WashingtonPost.com about Ivanka’s high profile, nearly all of them howling about it.

The top most rated comments on WashingtonPost.com:

Shameful and dangerous nepotism. In any other administration, there would be a universal outcry over this idiocy. In Trumpworld, it’s just another day.

She pronounced the short walk to the other side of one of the world’s most fortified borders “surreal.”
Nope.  What’s truly surreal is this crime family continues to find ways to spend American taxpayer’s money for a photo op with a murderous dictator.  I still don’t understand this woman’s role in the administration except she’s her Daddy’s arm candy.  Harsh, but true.

America has lowered itself in the view of all other nations save dictatorships. Ivanka has no self-awareness she doesn’t have a place inserting herself in conversations among world leaders who are there to speak to each other, not the president’s unqualified daughter. The judgment of the president and his advisors to allow Ivanka’s presence on the stage with world leaders is appalling. Every day that Trump and his family remain in the White House is an embarrassment to America’s credibility and values.

What’s surreal is that Ivanka is even there let alone in the West Wing.
End the nightmare.
Oust this corrupt regime in 2020.
